Support HOPE Farm on Giving Tuesday
Victor Neil, VP of Marketing and Development at HOPE Farm, tells you how in the video below.
How giving helps
- $100 supports a portion of our monthly operating costs, like utilities, gas, and supplies for the boys
- $500 will support two days worth of meals for 60 boys
- $1,000 will provide tuition support for high academic achievers
- $2,500 will help provide support for our endowment fund, creating a financial bedrock for the long-term, future success of HOPE Farm
How to create a Facebook fundraiser
- Log in to your personal Facebook page
- On your Facebook page, at the top, next to where it says your name and “Home,” is a button that says “Create.” Click that button and then scroll down to “Fundraiser”

- This opens a pop-up that says “Who are you raising money for?” Select “Nonprofit.”
- To find HOPE Farm, you need to type “Hope Farm Fort Worth” in the search bar
- Make sure it says “HOPE Farm, Inc.” and lists Fort Worth as the location. Don’t click “Create Now”. Just click on the organization’s name

- That will pull up another window where you can fill in the specifics on your particular fundraiser. (Note: it should automatically fill in the organization name in the top field.)
- Establish your individual fundraising goal and enter it in the appropriate box
- Set the end date to a future date depending on how long you want your fundraiser to run
- Click “Next”

- You can use the title Facebook provides or create your own
- Explain why you’re doing a fundraiser for HOPE Farm in your own words. Talk about Giving Tuesday if you want to
- Click “Next”
- Use the suggested photo Facebook provides or click “Edit” in the bottom right hand corner of the image to choose a different image
- When you click “Create” the fundraiser will automatically show up on your profile page and in your friends’ newsfeed
