Despite a great deal of brainstorming, Jim and I cannot think of a safe way to conduct The Bear this year.
We hate that we will miss the chance to play in our annual tournament. It has become a highlight of the year for us, primarily because of the time we get to spend with you.
This pause is not the end. We fully plan to reconvene for the 10th anniversary of The Bear in 2021. Jim and I are already looking forward to making it the best one yet.
Even though we won’t gather together, I hope that you will still remember Hope Farm.
Their needs have only increased in 2020. As you can imagine, The Bear is not the only fundraiser to have been cancelled this year.
Hope Farm accepts no government funds. It solely depends on contributions from people like us. I plan to match my contribution from previous years, and hope that you will consider doing the same.
