Why is HOPE Farm important to me? Emmanuel! I was an administrator at Poly High School and I walked through the doors of Hope Farm at a basketball camp and heard my name from across the gym… Doc!!!! Emanuel with a HUGE smile ran over and said, Doc, what are you doing here?! And introduced me to everyone with the HF standard welcome, handshakes, and introductions! I discovered how instrumental Hope Farm was in developing, supporting, & empowering this amazing high school student, a refugee from Sudan who was in need of “belonging!”

I have had the honor of working alongside educational facilities around the world from startups to premier academy’s, universities, and educational institutions… It’s exceptionally rare to see an organization, with such high caliber and a comprehensive approach to reaching, teaching, and trajectory influencing young men of trauma backgrounds, as well as their families! What Hope Farm does is so unique, so impactful, and so so important, I was compelled to be a part when asked!
