HOPE Farm Announces New Executive Director and Board Members

(Fort Worth, TX) —Steve Kissell, Chairman of the HOPE Farm, Inc., Board of Directors, has announced that the non-profit has hired Sacher Dawson as Executive Director. Gary Randle, co-founder and immediate past executive director, has officially retired, and he will continue supporting the non-profit in an advisory role. Mr. Dawson joins HOPE Farm along with six new Board of Directors members: Alan Ives, Darron Turner, Lo Andrews, Eric Hyman, James Traweek, and Joyce Lockwood.

“Sacher has been a HOPE Farm supporter and volunteer almost since our organization’s inception,” said Mr. Kissell. “He is an ideal leader to provide institutional knowledge and passion, while also bringing a fresh perspective and new set of talents to our executive team. I’m looking forward to seeing how this organization will evolve and flourish under his leadership.”

Mr. Dawson, a management, operations, and finance executive, was most recently a director for Fannie Mae in Dallas. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tenn., and he has completed professional development trainings such as Lean Management and Dale Carnegie Management Training.

“HOPE Farm has held a special place in my heart for decades,” said Mr. Dawson. “It’s an honor to be a part of this organization, but, more importantly, it’s a privilege to play a guiding role in the lives of our boys and their mothers. I’m thankful for this opportunity to broaden HOPE Farm’s positive impact in our community. My friend and predecessor, Gary Randle, has left big shoes to fill, but I know he’ll always be a part of the HOPE Farm family.”

According to HOPE Farm, Mr. Randle will continue to support the non-profit he co-founded with Noble Crawford over 20 years ago.

“As I reflect on the past and look to the future, I am honored by God’s faithfulness that He allowed me to have the privilege of leading this great organization,” said Mr. Randle, executive director emeritus. “For the first few decades I was intricately involved with HOPE Farm’s daily care and needs, but now I can delight in the next generation, watching the organization grow and strengthen as we continue God’s work in our community. Between our executive team, staff, and Board of Directors, I know our future is in wonderful hands. As Paul said in Philippians 1:6 ‘being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.’”

Along with Mr. Dawson’s arrival, HOPE Farm also welcomed six new members of the Board: Alan Ives (Luther King Capital Management, Private Client Advisor), Darron Turner (Texas Christian University, Associate Vice Chancellor), Lo Andrews (Texas Capital Bank, SVP, Head of Business Development), Eric Hyman (Retired Athletics Director – TCU, South Carolina, Texas A&M; Collegiate Athletics Consultant), James Traweek (CPMG, Inc., Managing Partner), Joyce Lockwood (Community Volunteer).
