“HOPE Farm’s leadership program focuses on guiding at-risk boys to become Christ-centered men of integrity.”
There are many organizations and individuals that are providing activity opportunities to vulnerable inner city boys and moms. With nearly 30 years of experience with the boys in Fort Worth, we’ve learned that it is important to be intentional and consistent in all that we do. Our unique work addresses:
The Spirit
through character building, bible study & prayer
The Mind
through reading, language, computers, math, music & critical thinking
The Body
through training and conditioning, nutritious meals & organized
athletic activities
HOPE Farm is also an active community partner. Through our annual events like our Fall Festival, Spring Basketball C.L.I.N.I.C., and partnerships with The Fort Worth Symphony, and The Van Cliburn Foundation, we are able to impact hundreds of community members each year.
We work daily with each child’s mother/caretaker and teachers in order to maintain accountability and consistency. Recognizing the importance of a collective effort, HOPE Farm has a partnership parenting curriculum provided through our Moms Resource Program (MRP). It assists the moms of HOPE Farm boys with spiritual development, inspirational encouragement and provides structural tools to help them partner with HOPE Farm.
Our two campuses in Ft. Worth, Texas, provide a variety of activities for inner city boys. Having a solid presence in the community gives our staff and volunteers a much more realistic picture of the day-to-day struggles at-risk boys and moms face overcoming the fatherless home syndrome. All project staff and volunteers are local.
